I don’t think I am going out on a limb when I say that Sunday is a day best reserved for rest and relaxation. A day that should be spent nursing hangovers and spending time with those that you really care about. That is precisely why I spent this entire Sunday in my apartment (minus the one and only Chipotle run) cuddling and watching TV with Chipotle.
Who needs the perfectly sunny day, crisp spring air and intoxicating aroma of flowers blooming, when you have a dirty apartment, 200 overpriced-unwatchable Time Warner channels and 3 meals of luke warm Chipotle waiting for consumption on the couch next to you.
Seriously though, with only 4 days remaining in our show of commitment to each other, it seemed like the right thing to do. And besides spending most of our day fighting indigestion (a sign of too much to drink the previous night – plus 26 straight days of mexican food), Chipotle and I had pretty incredible day. We watched 3 movies, 2 basketball games and a couple really bad reality shows (i.e. Extreme Couponing – that is a real thing – no lies). Later in the day, we even got to some more intimate activities as evident by the torn empty tin foil wrappers scattered next to my frameless bed.
We are in the home stretch!!
